Job summary

Bicara Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as the field-based medical and scientific expert for the company, focusing on engaging healthcare providers and educating them on investigational products, evolving therapeutic landscape, and research collaborations across the portfolio.

This role covers a west territory including CA and WA, with approximately 60-70% travel domestically.

Qualifications

Minimum five years in Pharmaceutical Industry Medical Affairs as MSL/Sr. MSL.
Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Identifies and maintains relationships with investigators, institutions, groups, and consortia in strategic disease areas.
Educates medical professionals on investigational products and disease areas of focus.
Increases visibility and interaction with oncology leaders.
Participates in medical education for healthcare professionals, including formulary committees.
Collaborates with clinical sites to provide education and training as needed.
Identifies clinical research opportunities aligned with company objectives.
Serves as primary territory contact for investigator-initiated research from concept to publication.
Communicates clinical and research insights from oncology leaders to inform company research.
Maintains clinical/scientific expertise via conferences, workshops, and key publications.
