Job summary

Bayer seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the United States to drive medical strategy and engage key Thought Leaders across therapeutic areas. The role requires strong scientific communication, cross-functional collaboration, and coverage of national to regional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has an advanced medical/pharmacological degree and MSL experience in pharma/biotech, with proven education and stakeholder engagement aligned to US and global strategies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• MSL experience required.
• Experience in scientific/healthcare setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ to meet TLs/researchers.
• Knowledge of FDA/OIG requirements is a plus.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement TL and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Coordinate TA updates, team discussions, and training initiatives.
• Attend conferences and report on value and outcomes.
• Mentor Field Medical team and share new ways of working.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate medical plans into actionable engagement.
