Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to integrate scientific expertise with medical strategy for its marketed and emerging portfolio.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships with regional clinicians and thought leaders to support development and education efforts. The position covers the Northeast region, with travel and collaboration across internal teams to translate clinical insights into actionable strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Advanced degree (NP, PA, MD, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of MSL experience and 6–10 years of overall related experience.
• 5+ years of relevant scientific or clinical experience in Urology and/or Women’s Health.
• MSL experience or relationships with HCPs within the geography preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify and engage national, regional, and local Urology and Women’s Health thought leaders and HCPs.
• Serve as the primary scientific contact and build long-term peer to peer scientific relationships.
• Exchange scientific and technical information relevant to the company’s development portfolio.
• Support relationships between key opinion leaders and internal product teams.
• Educate priority HCPs on research and development initiatives.
• Gather medical insights to inform clinical and marketing strategies.
• Provide an overview of company areas of interest for investigator sponsored studies.
• Contribute to internal educational activities and training.
• Represent the company at Women’s Health and Urology conferences and scientific meetings.
• Lead relevant projects within the field medical organization.
