Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to support the development and lifecycle management of Takeda Oncology medicines. This field-based role covers WA, OR, ID, MT and WY, engaging KOLs with scientifically non-promotional information.

You will collaborate with the Oncology Field Medical team, report to the Medical Science Liaison Director, and participate in medical conferences while maintaining credentialing and administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years healthcare or related experience.
• Experience in Oncology is required.
• CRC and Lung therapeutic area experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills, oral and written.
• Technical/scientific language proficiency for KOLs and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support medical strategies for Takeda Oncology compounds with focus on colorectal cancer.
• Develop and leverage thought leader relationships with US Medical Affairs.
• Provide medical insights to support lifecycle management of Takeda Oncology products.
• Lead and participate in matrix initiatives within USMAO.
• Engage in peer‑to‑peer scientific discussions with HCPs.
