Job summary

Takeda is hiring a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. The role is field-based and external customer-facing, primarily serving KOLs and HCPs in the Great Lakes region (Ideal: Ohio).

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; Master’s degree minimum.
• Minimum 2 years field-based MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities comprise ~80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas and products; analyze and disseminate data to KOLs/HCPs.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Collect and communicate medical insights to inform strategies and tactics.
• Identify opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in medical strategy at conferences and booth activities.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries; complete documentation in a timely manner.
