Job summary

Moderna seeks a Senior Clinical Scientist to support Oncology Therapeutic programs and the Clinical Development Lead across Phase 1–3 studies. The role focuses on directing execution and ensuring data quality for governance and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities include leading study design, drafting critical documents (protocols, DSURs, Investigator Brochures), and coordinating data reviews with internal and external partners. Occasional travel and hybrid in-office work apply.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to regulatory and clinical program strategy, trial design and execution.
• Author and review protocols, consent documents, DSURs and study components per regulatory standards.
• Oversee clinical studies, provide leadership, review data, and ensure timely deliverables with partners.
• Support site management with safety decisions aligned to protocol and oversee study start-up.
• Design clinical study parameters to minimize risk and improve site performance; support inspections.
• Develop messaging for Investigator Meetings and advisory boards; train junior Clinical Science personnel.
• Support evolution of the clinical science role and participate in development workstreams.
