Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Global Medical Lead to drive medical strategy across the Oncology portfolio, spanning early development to commercialization. You will lead evidence generation, governance, and external engagement with regulatory bodies, payers, and key opinion leaders.

The role interfaces with Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams and reports to the VP, Head of Medical Affairs Oncology. Located in Cambridge, MA or Princeton, NJ with global scope.

Qualifications

• Requires MD/PhD/PharmD with extensive oncology medical affairs leadership experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including global roles.
• Demonstrated leadership of global launch planning and execution in oncology or immuno-oncology.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the global medical strategy across Moderna’s oncology portfolio, from early development to lifecycle management.
• Serve as final medical accountability for assigned oncology programs and deliver the integrated medical plan.
• Drive medical governance in cross-functional forums and enable alignment between development, regulatory, and commercial functions.
• Lead the Development Integrated Evidence Team to build data packages for regulators and payers.
• Interact with health authorities and payers to provide strategic medical input.
