Job summary

Moderna is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Operations to manage studies within the Therapeutics/Oncology Therapeutic Area, leading trials across all phases and overseeing CROs and vendors.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive operational strategies, ensure study budgets and timelines are met, and contribute to the development programs with strong leadership and compliance with ICH/GCP and Moderna SOPs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 8–10 years of trial and clinical program experience, including full lifecycle management.
• Robust experience in therapeutics/oncology; early development and immuno-oncology desirable.
• Multi‑dimensional Clinical Operations background with site activation and data processes.
• Experience in GCP inspections/audits and cross‑functional collaboration with Regulatory, CMC, Biostatistics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver study budgets, timelines, and resources with a focus on quality and operational strategies.
• Develop operational plans in support of the Clinical Development Plan.
• Lead first‑in‑human through phase 4 trials, ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP and SOPs.
• Oversee CROs/vendors and manage budget tracking and forecasting.
• Represent Clinical Operations on cross‑functional teams and vendor meetings.
• Mentor Clinical Trial Managers and drive continuous improvement in operations.
