Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, DE is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Specialist to join our on‑site team on a Fri–Sun 6am–6pm weekend shift. You will lead designated production lines, provide hands‑on process support, and drive daily targets with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

You will mentor operators and supervisors, promote lean manufacturing practices, and implement containment actions and corrective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience in high‑complexity production environment; welding experience is preferred.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting high‑volume manufacturing, assembly operations, or production environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret designs to fixtures and tools preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods, and TIG welding techniques preferred.
• Highly motivated self‑starter, capable of self‑management with little to no oversight.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and tact needed to interact with all levels in the plant.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary manufacturing support lead for designated production lines or value streams.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to operators, team leads, and supervisors on manufacturing‑related issues.
• Provide direct hands‑on process support to manufacturing lines to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
• Support recovery plans and drive execution to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
• Promote consistency and repeatability across lines, shifts and production teams.
• Develop practical containment actions while driving permanent corrective solutions.
• Provide concise and actionable turnover reports that enable seamless continuation of troubleshooting and recovery activities.
