Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineer/Principal Manufacturing Engineer on-site in Melbourne, FL, to support the Production Engineering and Operations team. The role emphasizes manufacturability, tooling design, and process improvements with a 4/10 work schedule and a potential for a shift and bonuses.

On-site only due to job nature. Basic and preferred qualifications include STEM degrees, clearance eligibility, and CAD tool experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM with required experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active U.S. Government Clearance prior to starting
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active Special Program Access (PAR) prior to starting
• Experience with manufacturability review and GD&T is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Engineering regarding design concepts for manufacturability.
• Define sequence of operations for product builds.
• Investigate and initiate corrective actions for non-conforming product.
• Identify opportunities to improve producibility and affordability.
• Review engineering models for manufacturability during concept design phase
