Job summary

KPM in Las Vegas is seeking a Lead HVAC Maintenance Technician to serve as the technical backbone of the property. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems, own the preventive-maintenance program, and set the pace for the on-site maintenance team.

This hands-on leadership role requires EPA 608 Certification, 3+ years of experience in multifamily or student housing, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to mentor technicians.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) for refrigerant work.
• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance in multifamily or student housing.
• Strong diagnostics across residential HVAC; reads schematics.
• Ability to mentor technicians and lead maintenance team.
• Familiarity with property management/work-order software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across the community.
• Build and run seasonal preventive-maintenance program.
• Mentor and train technicians on HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Oversee general make-readies and summer turn.
• Prioritize and close work orders in PM system.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on turn timelines.
