Job summary

ByVerTek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex fiber optic network projects in Boca Raton, FL on-site. The role requires planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

You will own project timelines, provide direction, and mentor PMO staff. Travel to construction sites is expected, with a focus on operational excellence and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1+5 years of PMO experience with large projects preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Construction scheduling software proficiency preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee complex fiber optic projects from initiation to completion.
• Own project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Provide training to PMO teams and liaise with subcontractors and clients.
• Provide timely stakeholder updates and executive reporting.
• Manage resource allocation to meet objectives and staffing needs.
• Lead project meetings and maintain action items in the schedule.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate as needed.
• Define objectives and track progress using KPIs and change controls.
• Coordinate with Field Technicians and Engineers to address performance issues.
• Read KMZ files and fiber maps; understand OSP construction requirements.
• Collaborate across departments to implement processes and policies.
