Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities, coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors, and ensure safe, timely completion of structural work including concrete placement and steel erection.

The role leads daily operations, enforces safety standards, tracks progress, resolves on-site issues, and collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of structural construction experience, incl. 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, formwork, rebar, and mix designs.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all projects within the district, ensuring timely completion, cost control, and safety compliance.
• Develop and implement project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labor, equipment, and material deliveries.
• Enforce safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to align work with plans.
• Monitor quality control to meet or exceed standards.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimize delays.
• Prepare daily reports and progress updates on site activities.
• Mentor field supervisors and foremen to foster a high-performance culture.
• Participate in pre-construction planning and site logistics to optimize resources.
