Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities, coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors, and ensure safe, timely completion of structural work including concrete placement and steel erection.

The role leads daily operations, enforces safety standards, tracks progress, resolves on-site issues, and collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet budget and schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of structural construction experience, incl. 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, formwork, rebar, and mix designs.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management software is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Role Overview

The General Superintendentis responsible foroverseeing and managing all on-site construction activitiesincludingcoordinating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensuretimely, safe, and high-quality completion of structural work, including steel erection, concrete placement, and framing. The General Superintendent leads daily operations, enforces safety standards, monitors project progress, resolves issues, and collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals, budget, and schedule requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead andmanageday-to-day operations of all projects within the district, ensuringtimelycompletion, cost control, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labor crews, equipment, and material deliveries tomaintainworkflow and productivity.
  • Enforce strict compliance with all safety policies, regulations, and best practices, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to align construction activities with project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor quality control to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds project standards and client expectations.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly to minimize delays.
  • Prepare andmaintaindaily reports, progress updates, and documentation related to site activities, workforce, and material usage.
  • Mentor and develop field supervisors andforemen, fostering a team-oriented, high-performance culture.
  • Participate in pre-construction planning and sitelogisticstooptimizeresource allocation and sequencing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
