Job summary

Symfa Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale on-premises Kubernetes project for a leading US insurer.

The role focuses on containerizing enterprise applications in a self-hosted, highly available Kubernetes environment, with Azure cloud integration and IaC automation. You will design and maintain IaC with Ansible, build Azure DevOps pipelines, manage observability with Prometheus and Grafana, and ensure platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, scale, and harden on-premise Kubernetes clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for on-premise environments using Ansible and other automation tools.
• Build, optimize, and monitor Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD of containerized applications and infrastructure changes.
• Support and extend Azure-based infrastructure components integrated with on-prem workloads.
• Implement and maintain observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka (for log/metric streaming), and database monitoring (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
