Job summary

New York Manhattan Times Square is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to be the senior technical resource for engineering operations. You will mentor staff, manage vendors, and ensure property-wide safety and compliance as Engineer-on-Duty.

The role requires overseeing complex repairs, coordinating on-site maintenance, and upholding SOPs while maintaining meticulous logs and shift reporting. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC certification is required; EPA certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building automation, and guest service standards.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, operate lifts, and work at heights up to 50 feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders and delegate assignments to Line Engineers; assist with diagnosis and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and controls systems.
• Serve as Engineer-on-Duty; lead rounds, inspections, and shift reporting.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations.
• Use preventive maintenance systems to track asset condition and repair schedules.
• Oversee maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor team members; share technical knowledge and hands-on skills.
