Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of petrochemical experience.
• Knowledge of the Olefins process.
• Experience with world-scale chemical/petrochemical design/operations.
• Excellent leadership, ethics, teamwork, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support unit operations and capital projects at Channelview Olefins plants.
• Collaborate with Production Engineers, Operations Specialists, and Reliability Engineers on strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate processes, review trends, and develop initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Support programs contributing to plant profitability, reliability, environmental performance, and process safety integrity.
• Communicate impacts to plant KPIs and recommend solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide process engineering support for capital projects, including scope development, economic justification, and startup support.
