LyondellBasell is seeking an Olefins Process Engineer for the Channelview Manufacturing Complex near Houston. You will support unit operations, capital projects, and mentor engineers to improve plant performance and profitability.

Join a large-scale olefins operation with collaboration across production, reliability, and engineering teams. This role emphasizes process optimization, safety, and economic justification for improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of petrochemical experience required.
• Knowledge and experience with the Olefins process.
• Experience with world-scale chemical and petrochemical design/operations.
• Develop process design packages and economic justification.
• Strong leadership, ethics, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes, review trends and develop initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support programs and projects contributing to profitability, reliability, environmental and safety integrity.
• Communicate impacts to plant KPIs and recommend solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide process engineering support for capital projects including scope development and startup support.
• Mentor less experienced engineers in applying Operational Excellence standards.
