Job summary

INEOS USA LLC seeks a Senior Process Engineer – Capital Projects in League City, TX. This role leads process design expertise and technical stewardship across the Olefins & Polymers asset base. Key responsibilities include delivering process engineering for capital projects, ensuring designs are safe and aligned with business objectives, and managing technical quality throughout all project phases.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in petrochemicals, refining, or polymers process engineering.
• Owner’s-team experience supporting stage-gated capital projects.
• Demonstrated ability in process engineering for major capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Heat & Material Balances using rigorous simulation.
• Provide technical input to relief system design and embed process safety.
• Serve as Owner’s Process Lead during detailed design.

Skills

Process simulation tools proficiency (Aspen Plus or HYSYS)

Hydraulic systems expertise

API, ASME, ANSI standards knowledge

Education

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
