Job summary

Unicon Systems is seeking a Senior Okta Consultant to join our growing IAM team. You will design and implement Okta-based identity solutions for enterprise clients, lead deployments (SSO, MFA, lifecycle, API access), and act as a trusted SME on Okta capabilities and best practices.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders, troubleshoot complex configurations, and mentor junior consultants while staying current on security trends and Zero Trust frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IAM experience with hands-on Okta deployments.
• Okta Certified Consultant, Administrator, or Developer preferred.
• Proficiency with Okta Workforce Identity and/or CIAM solutions.
• Experience with SSO protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.
• Strong directory services knowledge: AD, LDAP, Azure AD.
• Experience with API integrations and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
• Excellent client-facing consulting and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Okta IAM solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead Okta deployments including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, API Access Management.
• Serve as SME on Okta platform capabilities, integrations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into IAM solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Okta configuration and integration issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Mentor junior consultants on IAM strategy and Okta adoption.
• Stay current with Okta product updates, security trends, and Zero Trust frameworks.
