Job summary

Xccelerated Construction Unlimited is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Specialist to support cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting for oil and gas projects in Granbury, TX. This role collaborates with project management, engineering, construction, procurement, and field operations to ensure delivery within budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project controls, strong data analysis, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, or PM support.
• Experience in oil and gas, capital projects, construction, or related industrial projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel for advanced reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project budgets, cost reports, commitments, actuals, and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, EAC reports, and variance analyses.
• Identify overruns, risks, and corrective actions.
• Monitor POs, contracts, change orders, and commitments.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules with stakeholders.
• Track progress, prepare weekly/monthly controls reports, and dashboards.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure schedules reflect scope and execution plans.
• Support risk assessments, mitigation planning, and project reviews.
