Job summary

AMS is seeking a seasoned Senior Oil & Gas Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, field, and engineering teams. You will source, screen, and hire high-caliber talent across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations with strict adherence to safety and compliance.

Hybrid: 2x a week onsite. You will partner with Hiring Managers and Project Managers to define workforce needs and compensation packages, while advising on market trends and salary benchmarks in global energy

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment for the Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, or Petrochemical sectors.
• Track record hiring field/rotational personnel and technical engineering talent.
• Proficiency with ATS (Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Deep understanding of energy terminology, certifications, safety culture, and rotational logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and candidate management skills in high-demand markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for Petroleum Engineers, HSE Managers, Field Technicians, Rig Managers, Project Engineers, and Asset Operators.
• Headhunt passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, energy databases, trade networks, and direct sourcing.
• Build and manage pipelines for high-volume field hiring and niche roles.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Site Leads, and Project Managers to define workforce demands and compensation.
• Advise leadership on market availability, salary benchmarks, and talent trends in energy sectors.
