Job summary

Hunter+Sage is seeking an Oil & Gas Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment, build relationships with hiring leaders, and proactively source top technical talent across multiple business groups. The role supports engineering, IT, field services, and procurement, emphasizing data-driven decisions and a strong candidate experience.

You will partner with managers, source from networks and events, and guide candidates through onboarding while tracking metrics for workforce planning and employer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and ~4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience recruiting technical talent in Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering, or Field Services.
• Strong full-cycle recruiting and proactive sourcing experience.
• Ability to use data/analytics to monitor activity and results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple business groups and locations.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and develop strategies.
• Recruit for technical, engineering, procurement, IT, field service, and corporate roles.
• Proactively source qualified candidates using ATS, networks, referrals, events.
• Manage candidate communication and provide a strong interview experience.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and maintain hiring data in the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics and contribute to workforce reporting.
• Build relationships with universities, military organizations, and partners.
• Represent the organization at career fairs and recruiting events.
• Collaborate with HR on best practices and day-to-day hiring challenges.
• Contribute to employer branding and social media recruiting initiatives.
