An international energy company in Kentucky seeks an experienced engine room watch stander. The role involves ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of all mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on the vessel, adhering to safety and environmental compliance. Candidates must possess relevant marine/engineering qualifications, significant experience on MODUs, and troubleshooting expertise. The position demands independent work, commitment to safety policies, and the ability to mentor junior crew members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with IFS.
• Valid BOSIET CA-EBS.
• Valid Marshall Islands Endorsement.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Perform daily visual inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Implement the Preventive Maintenance System.
• Assist in prioritizing maintenance and repair budgets.

Connaissances

Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge

Troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently

Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems (PMS)

Formation

Recognized Marine/Engineering qualification from Maritime college

Valid Unlimited 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer motors
