Job summary

Noble Corporation seeks an experienced Marine Engineer to serve as an engine room watch stander, coordinating closely with maintenance to keep mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems operational. You will uphold safety and environmental standards and ensure compliance with Noble’s maintenance system and vessel manuals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized maritime/engineering qualification from a maritime college or equivalent.
• Valid Unlimited 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer license.
• Experience as an Engineer on a DP MODU, preferably as a 2nd Engineer.
• Training as required by maritime flag state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems per maintenance system and SOPs.
• Perform daily inspections and diagnose malfunctions, addressing hazards promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and identify root causes of failures.
• Monitor power plant controls and distribution to ensure continuous power supply.
• Maintain PMS records and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
• Manage inventories of parts and tools for safe, efficient operations.
