Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to join our client's DP3 Multi-Purpose vessel operating offshore in Angola. This role offers an immediate start with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation and potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will hold the required certificates and lead electrical operations on board, ensuring safety and compliance while coordinating with other ship teams offshore.

Qualifications

• Certificate requirements for this offshore Chief Electrician role include the Certificate of Competence (ETO III/6 - Unlimited) and STCW endorsements such as Fire Prevention/Fire Fighting, Survival Craft, and Advanced Fire Fighting.
• Seafarers Medical and Designated Security Duties are required.
• OEUK and BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS are also specified as certificates to hold.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical operations on the DP3 Multi-Purpose vessel offshore Angola.
• Maintain safety and compliance with offshore standards and coordinate with deck/engineering teams.
