Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer for an offshore accommodation and support vessel based in Angola. Start ASAP with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. Ongoing contractual position with potential permanent hire after three trips for the right candidate.

Requires valid 2nd Engineer CoC and offshore certifications. Candidate must have OGUK/Seafarer Medical suitability and relevant offshore safety training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 2nd Engineer CoC.
• Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than F.R.B.) required.
• FOET/BOSIET and OGUK Offshore Medical or equivalent preferred.
• Seafarer Medical and High Voltage certification beneficial.

We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our client's offshore accommodation and support vessel based in Angola.
Start: ASAP
Location: Angola
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off
Contract: Ongoing rotational position with the potential to lead to permanent employment after 3 trips for the right candidate
Essential / Preferred Certification:
Candidates should hold a valid 2nd Engineer CoC, preferably along with:

• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Basic Safety Training
• Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than Fast Rescue Boats)
• FOET/BOSIET
• OGUK Offshore Medical
• Seafarer Medical
• High Voltage certification
