Job summary

Allseas is seeking an Automation Electrician to support offshore vessels worldwide, reporting to senior electricians. You will maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, implement software changes, and analyze system performance while following strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree in automation/electrical fields, have scripting experience (Python/PowerShell/Visual Basic), are fluent in English, and have offshore DP vessel experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent in automation/electrical disciplines.
• STCW 3/6 certification or equivalent safety training.
• Proficiency with industrial programming and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, commission automation systems following standing instructions.
• Implement software/configuration changes aligned with work methods.
• Analyse system behaviour via trending and data analysis.
• Collect and centralise system improvements and bug reports.
• Adhere to Allseas safety standards as per AIMS.
