Job summary

Ascend Technologies is seeking a Sr. Microsoft O365/Cloud Engineer to support client Office 365, Azure, and related Microsoft services in hybrid environments. This role will provide escalated support and project-based upgrades to infrastructure.

You will administer O365/Exchange Online in hybrid configuration, manage Azure AD/Entra ID, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, and security controls like Conditional Access and MFA. Design and deploy cloud solutions using Azure; manage Hyper-V/VMware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 8+ years IT experience in client-facing roles; 5+ years supporting O365, Exchange Online, Teams, and Azure.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills for remote troubleshooting.
• MCSE or AZ-104 with AZ-500 preferred.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requests and determine underlying problems and solutions.
• Administer O365 and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Design and implement Azure-based cloud solutions.
• Manage Azure AD/Entra ID and security controls.
• Support NOC with escalation and complex issue resolution.
