Job summary

LX Pantos Americas in Atlanta seeks a USA Senior Ocean Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end ocean freight, imports and exports, coordinating with carriers, customers, customs brokers, and internal teams. The role demands 7+ years in ocean freight operations, and fluency in Korean and English.

You will oversee bookings, documentation, tracking, and billing support, ensuring timely, compliant shipments and high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in ocean freight operations or international logistics.
• Fluency in Korean and English.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle ocean freight shipments for import and export.
• Manage shipment bookings with ocean carriers and service providers.
• Prepare and process ocean freight documentation (Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists).
• Track and trace shipments, resolve delays and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
• Monitor milestones and maintain accurate shipment records in the system.
• Support billing, freight audit, cost verification, and invoicing activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Provide timely shipment updates and maintain high customer service.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.
• Assist training and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Pricing, and Customer Service.
