Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Ocean Export Specialist IV in Des Plaines, IL to support inbound/outbound shipments, handle documentation, and ensure timely clearance and coordination for Ocean Export operations. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of related experience, and a preferred Bachelor’s in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CargoWise is expected, with Monday–Friday shifts and on-site location at 1333 Mt.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• CargoWise system experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute written exception procedures for handling each account served by the team.
• Oversee entry processing performance and reflect commitments in company databases and templates.
• Receive, review, and process complex transactions for assigned accounts and classification/valuation of goods.
• Assist and review work stream development of new and existing accounts and maintain client profiles.
• Process documents through the established system and obtain necessary releases.
