Leidos is seeking a Senior Ocean Engineer to support the Undersea Systems Division, focusing on design and maintenance of underwater infrastructure, arrays of maritime sensors, and offshore installation and recovery.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team in cradle-to-grave system design, from production to prototype, installation, proof of concept, and sustainment, for mission-critical maritime technologies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Ocean Engineering/Naval Architecture or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in marine engineering.
• Experience with underwater/marine engineering in maritime environments.
• Experience with SolidWorks software.
• Proficiency with OrcaFlex, MathCAD, Matlab, and other analysis tools.
• Experience in undersea hardware system development.
• Strong collaborative skills with government customers, staff, and peers.

Responsabilidades

• Be a senior engineer through design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced maritime and undersea systems.
• Apply expertise in ocean engineering, hydrodynamics, underwater acoustics, and marine systems to optimize performance.
• Provide technical mentorship across multidisciplinary teams.
