The State of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide clinical coverage across Minnesota facilities, mentor OT and OTA staff, and coordinate student fieldwork within the MHSATS network.

The role emphasizes maintaining clinical competency, advancing staff development, and ensuring services adhere to best practices and regulatory standards. Travel is required at least 50% of the time across statewide facilities.

Formación

• Must be licensed to practice occupational therapy in Minnesota or eligible to obtain licensure prior to appointment.
• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least 3 years of professional, post-licensure occupational therapy experience.
• Preferred: experience with mental health or behavioral health conditions; trauma-informed care; doctorate in OT.

Responsabilidades

• Provide training and mentoring to OT and OTA staff to support evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
• Provide direct coverage and support to OT/OTA staff at sites in MHSATS.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and regulatory training to meet hospital appointment and privileging requirements.
• Coordinate OT student fieldwork and internship programs.
