Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong engineering mechanics fundamentals.
• Experience in occupant safety CAE and safety system design from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop occupant CAE models in LS-Dyna for crash modes with cross-functional teams.
• Correlation of CAE models with D&Rs and component suppliers to ensure reasonable assumptions.
• Conduct DOE/DFSS studies using optimization tools to meet performance constraints.
• Support quick concept development and assess system-level occupant performance across impact configurations.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality CAE models through all program phases to Start-of-Production.
