Job summary

Optimal Solution Company is seeking an Occupant Safety CAE Engineer to develop and validate occupant CAE models for vehicle crash scenarios. You will collaborate across design and safety teams to ensure robust simulations, contribute to early concept development, and support a safe, scalable vehicle platform architecture for electric vehicles.

The role emphasizes nonlinear FE analysis, cross-functional teamwork, and the ability to drive design iterations from concept through Start-of-Production,

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field and strong fundamentals in engineering mechanics.
2+ years of experience in occupant safety CAE and nonlinear FE analysis.
Ability to work independently and across a global cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

Develop occupant CAE models in LS-Dyna for various crash modes.
Collaborate with D&Rs and suppliers to ensure CAE model accuracy and reasonable assumptions.
Conduct DOE/DFSS studies using optimization tools to meet performance targets.
Optimize components to meet occupant performance targets (airbags, belts, seats, panels).
Create standard work procedures for delivering quality models and results.
Present design concepts in reviews and support production readiness.
