Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an Occupant Safety CAE Engineer in Michigan to develop occupant CAE models and support next-generation vehicle platforms, including EVs. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across design, crash safety, and suppliers to ensure accurate, validated simulations.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in occupant safety CAE, experience with nonlinear FE analysis, and knowledge of safety regulations, capable of solving complex problems independently and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years in Occupant Safety CAE.
• Experience designing and launching safety systems from concept to production.
• Knowledge of global passive safety regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop occupant CAE models using LS-DYNA for vehicle crash modes.
• Collaborate with crash safety and program design teams on occupant safety.
• Work with design, release teams and suppliers to ensure model correlation and validation.
• Perform DOE and DFSS studies to meet performance while considering cost/weight.
