Job summary

AHEAD seeks a Sr. Observability Solutions Engineer to act as a technical expert and pre‑sales leader, collaborating with account teams to design complex solutions. The role emphasizes Datadog, Dynatrace, Chronosphere, and Splunk proficiency, with thought leadership across the practice.

The SSE will guide customers through architectural recommendations and implementation services, mentoring peers and travelling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

Expertise in observability technologies such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Chronosphere, New Relic, Splunk, etc.
Experience as a consultant advising on technical solutions and pre‑sales
Enterprise experience with Cloud Infrastructure, networking and system administration
Ability to evaluate new technologies and provide internal training
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Active participation in the SSE and service delivery teams.
Design and architect technical solutions for clients.
Support sales by providing advice, solutions, or proposals.
Develop relationships with Observability teams and partners to support sales.
Lead technical sales calls and prepare configurations, pricing, and presentations.
Qualify opportunities by customer requirements and funding.
Present design value and business justification to customers and management.
Mentor junior team members and maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge.
Travel up to 30%.
