Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead observability, analytics, and dashboard services across the organization. You will partner with business stakeholders, application owners, and leadership to capture requirements, prioritize demand, and deliver dashboards that improve operational performance.

You will own the dashboard product, drive adoption of Power BI, Tableau, and ServiceNow reporting, and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Extensive experience gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Extensive experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, ServiceNow, or similar analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to transform complex data into insights.
• Experience managing intake, backlogs, prioritization, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise observability dashboard and analytics roadmap.
• Lead intake discussions for new applications, services, and reporting requests.
• Serve as the product owner for dashboard and reporting capabilities.
• Develop onboarding frameworks for new applications requiring reporting.
• Partner with internal customers to identify metrics and reporting requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable dashboards and analytics models.
• Coordinate development of role-based dashboards for executives, portfolio managers, and operations.
• Create executive scorecards, portfolio dashboards, and operational health dashboards.
• Drive adoption of Power BI, Tableau, ServiceNow reporting and other platforms.
• Present regular executive updates and insights from dashboards.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
• Promote dashboard governance and data quality across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to automate data collection and KPI generation.
• Lead continuous improvement by evaluating dashboard effectiveness.
