Job summary

Amgen Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in the Washington D.C. area. This field-based role supports the obesity pipeline by engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers to share scientific data and improve patient outcomes.

The role requires deep scientific acumen, strong communication, and collaboration across Amgen’s Medical Affairs team to advance strategy and execute compliant field activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with Medical Affairs experience.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience in Medical Affairs and obesity/ cardiometabolic areas is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to institutions within assigned networks.
• Lead congress activities aligned with strategy.
• Provide speaker training and ensure updated data.
