Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer to develop new OBD strategies for gas engine control systems. The role includes reviewing designs, generating test plans, and managing vehicle/test-bench resources to develop and validate compliant calibrations for future propulsion programs.

The engineer will work cross-functionally with hardware, controls, software, and program management teams, guiding instrumentation, utilizing INCA data, and planning milestones to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in OBD or emissions calibration or controls.
• Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow.
• Basic understanding of Internal combustion engine propulsion system hardware and function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen.
• Self-motivated/proactive with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications.
• Valid Driver License.
• Willingness to work in-vehicle & inside climatic test environments.

Responsibilities

• Review system and software designs, generate test plans and verify calibrations.
• Manage vehicle/test-bench/virtual resources for development and validation of calibrations.
• Guide instrumentation of electrical and physical systems and review INCA data.
• Plan milestones and coordinate cross-functional activities for on-time launches.
