Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming (NX CAM & 5-Axis) to join the Manufacturing Engineering team.

You will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for complex multi-axis machining and support shop-floor operations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in CNC programming with NX CAM, experience with 5-axis programs, Vericut validation, and hands-on setup and first-piece prove-out.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC programming experience using a graphical CAM system, preferably Siemens NX CAM.
• Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs (3+2 and/or simultaneous 5-axis machining).
• Experience with Vericut or similar CNC simulation and machine verification software.
• Strong hands-on manufacturing or machinist background with setup and first-piece prove-out experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and machine tight-tolerance components on large machining platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM for complex machining operations.
• Program and support large-format machining equipment including VTLs, VBMs, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Validate CNC programs using Vericut and implement Renishaw probing routines for process control and quality assurance.
• Provide daily shop-floor support, troubleshooting, operator training, and machining process improvements.
• Lead manufacturing initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.
