Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for Motors in Southeast Michigan. You will analyze field and warranty motor returns, perform root-cause investigations, and coordinate NVH testing with internal teams and external laboratories.

You will prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to customers and stakeholders, leveraging your motor engineering expertise and quality management experience. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, field failure analysis, warranty analysis, motor engineering, or automotive electric powertrain fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze field return and warranty return motors and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate NVH testing with internal teams and external labs as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and customer-facing presentations with findings.
