Job summary

ALSO in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Senior or Staff NVH Engineer to lead NVH development for drive units and complete vehicles from concept through production, blending CAE, lab testing and vehicle validation to identify noise and vibration issues, develop countermeasures, and influence product design.

You will correlate simulation results with measurements, define NVH targets and acceptance criteria, collaborate with controls, electromagnetic, manufacturing and validation teams, and develop

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze NVH data and apply CAE results.
• Experience with NVH testing and correlation with measurements.
• Familiarity with MAC and Transfer Path Analysis.
• Hands-on instrumentation experience (accelerometers, microphones, etc.).
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead NVH development of drive units from concept to production.
• Develop and validate CAE models for drive units and vehicle systems.
• Correlate simulations with lab and vehicle measurements.
• Conduct vehicle, component, and dynamometer NVH testing.
• Define NVH targets and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with controls to reduce NVH via software optimization.
• Present findings to engineers and leadership.
