Job summary

Department of Aging and Disabilities is seeking an Operations Manager for the Senior Nutrition Programs. You will oversee CMP site operations, lead quality assurance for CMP and HDM, and collaborate with the Program Director on staff development, data management, and inventory control.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience in operations management within health or social services settings. Full-time, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food services, nutrition, business, or related field, or at least 4 years of experience.
• Proven operations management experience, preferably in social services or community program setting.
• Experience in food service or ServSafe certification.
• Strong organizational and deadline-driven work style.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of congregate nutrition sites to ensure consistent service delivery and compliance with health standards.
• Respond to participant complaints and operational issues, escalating significant matters as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with participants, staff, vendors, and community partners.
• Ensure service quality standards across nutrition program operations.
• Coordinate operational needs for special meals and events; manage weather-related continuity.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory, and equipment to support meal service.
