Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Kitchen Manager for the ANS Food Services kitchen. You will oversee and train kitchen staff, manage production schedules, ensure food safety compliance, and coordinate inventory for Senior Nutrition and related programs.

You’ll lead cost control, maintain strong vendor relationships, and work with a Dietician to refresh menus while adhering to regulatory guidelines. This role is Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2pm, based in Commerce City, CO.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in food service management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in large volume institutional food service.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state food handling and sanitation regulations.
• Own transportation with valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Food Manager Safety Certification required within 90 days if not already certified.

Responsabilidades

• Recruits, supervises, trains, monitors, and evaluates kitchen staff and payroll.
• Maintains clear communication with staff in a concise, respectful manner.
• Develops, prepares, and monitors production, cleaning, and sanitation schedules.
• Ensures menus/recipes are followed and portions are prepared for delivery.
• Oversees inventory, ordering, production, and delivery for all programs.
• Maintains compliance with health, sanitation, safety regulations; HACCP.
• Monitors equipment and coordinates repairs; works with Dietician on menus.
