Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations and resident care in a collaborative, regulatory-compliant environment. You will support staffing, oversee care programs, and manage documentation and staff performance.

Ideal candidates hold an active nursing license, have geriatric care experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, assessment, and communication skills to enhance quality and safety in our facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures.
