Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to join our academic programs within the Capital Health Medical Group. The role supports the Dean and faculty in program operations, accreditation, and curriculum development, ensuring high-quality nursing education across clinical and classroom settings.

Candidates will hold a Master’s in Nursing, have at least two years in nursing education, and possess credentials like BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s of Science in Nursing or higher.
• Experience: Two years of experience in nursing education.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, RN – NJ or multi-state.
• CPR/ALCS: ACLS within 6 months if assigned to certain units.
• NRP: required within 6 months for maternity services.
• PALS: required within 6 months for pediatric areas.
• Special Training: Experience with instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor documents, records, reports, schedules and materials for faculty, staff, students.
• Assist with course coordination to support delivery and program operations.
• Utilize teaching strategies and integrate tools into the curriculum; guide clinical teaching.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate educational activities to meet learning needs.
• Assist in planning facilities and resources to meet department goals.
• Monitor data collection for course/clinical evaluations and accreditation.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders with the Dean.
• Support data analysis for evidence-based decision-making and quality improvement.
• Assist in planning orientation, graduation, recruitment and events.
• Evaluate new equipment and instructional tools; make recommendations.
