Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, nursing education, or healthcare administration.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years clinical RN experience required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum development.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develops education plans and evaluates staff development programs.
• Synthesizes literature to design interventions for identified problems.
• Supervises unit educators and participates in performance reviews.
• Provides educational consultation across areas of specialty.
• Assesses learning styles and develops programs accordingly.
• Conducts annual education needs assessments and prioritizes actions.
• Coaches unit educators in curriculum development and evaluation.
• Develops educational effectiveness measures and program outcomes.
• Participates in preceptor selection and training.
