Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facilities serving Toledo and surrounding areas. You will oversee Nursing Services, ensure quality resident care, and lead a team under current state and federal guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license (or compact) with 1+ year supervisory experience in long-term or acute care. Strong leadership, policy interpretation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license (Ohio or compact state).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care in line with physician orders and facility policies.
• Direct 24-hour Nursing Services supervision to maintain quality care.
• Lead nursing department operations and participate in admissions decisions.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budget related to Nursing Services.
• Promote infection control and participate in quality improvement activities.
