Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in nursing service administration.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local long-term care regulations.
• Willingness to be on call 24 hours a day.
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and high-demand environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for residents aligned with physician orders and regulations.
• Develop and update nursing department standards, procedures, and job descriptions.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train and supervise nursing staff; manage staffing and schedules.
• Ensure nursing documentation, accreditation standards, and compliance with policies.
• Monitor resident outcomes, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement measures.
• Lead through collaboration with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
